Formula philosophy:
The formula is related to the smooth flow of Qi and Blood during a woman’s cycle. In TCM, when this flow is obstructed, pain, irregular flow, internal tension and a feeling that the cycle is not moving at a natural pace can occur. RELEASTA is traditionally described as a formula that regulates menstruation, moves Qi and Blood, nourishes Blood and supports the Ren Mai and Chong Mai vessels.
Action:
It regulates menstruation, moves Blood and Qi, regulates and supports the Conception (Ren Mai) and Penetration (Chong Mai) vessels, nourishes Blood and relieves menstrual discomfort and discomfort.
Indications (TCM):
In TCM it is indicated for stagnation of menstrual Qi, congealed/stagnant menstrual Blood and Blood deficiency. Traditionally it is associated with menstrual disharmony, severe dysmenorrhoea and postpartum congealed Blood.
Description in Western terminology:
The formula is described as being related to periods of cyclic discomfort which may be accompanied by severe menstrual pain, cramps, irregular cycles, excessive clots, a feeling of bloating or tightness in the breasts, fluid retention, changes in appetite and decreased strength during the cycle. The guide also states that it may be related to cases where the period comes too early, too late, irregularly or absent. The above descriptions provide traditional/descriptive terminology and do not constitute a medical claim.
Physical level (TCM):
In TCM, when Qi and Blood do not move smoothly in the cycle, experiences such as pains that come and go, abdominal distension, more acute and localized pain, cramps due to cold obstructing the flow of Blood, irregular menstruation and increased clotting are often described. The formula is traditionally associated with smoother circulation and better cycle regulation.
Psychological level (TCM):
In the guide, it is described as supportive when mental disorganization, emotional burden, irritability, frustration, anger, hypersensitivity, mood swings, crying, loss of self-confidence or low self-esteem occur during the cycle.
Spiritual level (TCM):
It is traditionally associated with restoring greater internal coherence in times when Qi and Blood blockages seem to affect not only the body but also the sense of stability, direction, and emotional balance within the cycle. The guide also states that it is used in both men and women when Qi and Blood blockages are associated with sudden behavioral changes or disorientation.
