Product Details

Dietary supplement inspired by the traditional Chinese Medicine formulas Sha shen mai men dong tang and Sheng mai san.
Packaging: 75 tablets of 500 mg.
Suggested use:
Take 2 to 6 tablets daily, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
Formula philosophy:
The formula is related to supporting Yin and Lung Qi, particularly during periods of recovery and restoration after loss or exhaustion. In TCM tradition, it is associated with the ability to “take in” life, move in a new direction, and find inner space and renewal again.
Action:
It nourishes Yin and stimulates Qi. Traditionally associated with hydrating and supporting the Lungs, with an emphasis on dryness and weakness of the respiratory system.
Indications (TCM):
In TCM, it refers to a deficiency of Yin and Qi in the Lungs. It is traditionally associated with dry cough, hoarseness, dryness in the throat or nose, as well as images of exhaustion after loss or burden.
Description in Western terminology:
The formula is described as being relevant to periods of upper respiratory dryness, dry throat, hoarseness, dry cough and a feeling of “dryness” after exertion or recovery. The guide also mentions upper respiratory infections, dry coughs, dry throats, as well as an aid to dryness in smokers or the discomfort that may accompany smoking cessation. The above descriptions provide traditional/descriptive terminology and do not constitute a medical claim.
Physical level (TCM):
In TCM, when the Lungs are not adequately supported by Yin and Qi, experiences such as dry cough, dryness in the throat and nose, hoarseness, thirst and dry skin are often described. The formula is traditionally associated with moistening the Lungs and relieving dryness, and can also be used after febrile conditions or upper respiratory infections to replenish dampness and Qi.
Psychological level (TCM):
The guide describes it as useful for someone who needs a sense of completion after a loss, for someone who has difficulty accepting “what belongs to them” in life, as well as in periods of burn-out or stress of everyday life. It is also associated with feelings of sadness, detachment from the world, and a sense that existence is becoming heavy or meaningless.
Spiritual level (TCM):
It is traditionally associated with the ability to harmonize with the natural alternation of "give and take", to move more easily through the world and to create the necessary space for new ideas and new direction in life.
