Product Details

Dietary supplement inspired by the traditional Chinese Medicine formulas Shen tong zhu yu tang and Mo yao xiang sheng dan.
Packaging: 75 tablets of 500 mg.
Suggested use:
Take 2 to 6 tablets daily, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
Formula philosophy:
The formula is related to the free flow of Blood and the removal of stasis which, in TCM, can manifest in both the body and the psycho-emotional experience. It is traditionally associated with images where old injuries, chronic burdens or deeper “imprints” have left a sense of blockage, heaviness or disconnection. The guide states that it addresses both physical and psychic scars from old injuries, chronic disease, long-term abuse and neglect.
Action:
It activates the Blood, dissolves Clots, opens and penetrates the meridians, reduces swelling, supports healing, relieves pain and reduces the feeling of separateness.
Indications (TCM):
In TCM it is referred to as Congealed Blood, Congealed Blood in the meridian, Congealed Blood with swelling and masses, traumatic injury, fractures, falls, contusions and sprains, emotional scars, pain and tears in the muscles.
Description in Western terminology:
The formula is described as being relevant to periods of intense, localized or persistent pain, stiffness, injuries, sprains, muscle pulls, bruises and difficulty moving, especially when symptoms persist or leave a feeling that the body does not “flow” as before. The guide also mentions shoulder pain, upper or lower back pain, sore legs, body pain, torn tendons, broken bones, cramps, soreness and masses such as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids and fibrocystic breast disease. The above descriptions provide traditional/descriptive terminology and do not constitute a medical claim.
Physical level (TCM):
When, in TCM, the Blood does not circulate smoothly and stagnation occurs, experiences such as constant, stabbing and intense pain, swelling, bruising, injuries, cramps, stiffness, inability to bend and difficulty moving tendons and bones are often described. The formula is traditionally associated with decongesting the meridians and supporting recovery after acute or chronic injury. The guide also connects it specifically to modern sports medicine.
Psychological level (TCM):
The guide describes that patterns of separation, discontinuity or withdrawal can sometimes be seen, in TCM, as expressions of Congealed Blood, especially when chronic or intense. The formula is traditionally associated with periods of long-term sadness, disappointment, suspicion, doubt, severe insomnia, excessive dreaming or inner disconnection.
Spiritual level (TCM):
Traditionally associated with the reintegration of pieces of experience that have become “frozen” or disjointed after intense trials, the formula is described as supporting a sense of continuity, contact with oneself, and the gradual restoration of inner flow.
