Ingredients:
• 何首乌 Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. (Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.) – He Shou Wu
• Capsule: vegetable cellulose
Traditionally in TCM it is used to stimulate the Liver and Kidneys, strengthen Essence (Jing) and Blood, support vitality, strengthen tendons/bones and is traditionally associated with supporting the natural color retention of hair.
Precautions: Polygonum multiflorum (He Shou Wu) has been associated with reports of liver injury; use is recommended only under specialist guidance, especially if there is a history of liver enzymes/hepatic disease or coadministration with potentially hepatotoxic agents.
